בשנת 1997 התחיל דודי את לימודיו באשרם "Vivekananda"  ליד בנגלור בדרום הודו, שם למד יוגה רפואית, פרניאמה (תירגול נשימות מהיוגה) ומדיטציה.

דודי סיגל לעצמו אורח חיים של המזרח, תירגל יומיום ושם לעצמו מטרה לשנות את דרך חייו. כחלק מהתהליך הסתובב במשך יותר משנתיים לצידו של באבא (מורה רוחני) שהעביר אותו תהליכים לשינוי התודעה- כמו להתבודד במערה על הרי ההמליה, לעסוק במדיטציה ויוגה כדרך חיים ולשלוט ב"מיינד". 
שנים לאחר מכן, למד את הרייקי המסורתי והוכשר למאסטר (מורה ומטפל), בכל 20 שנותיו בהודו לימד והכשיר מעל 10,000 תלמידי רייקי.  

את שיטת ההילינג "הילינג spiritual" פיתח יחד עם מורו מהאשרם שהפך לימים לשותפו וחברו- דר' אננד האשל, שיטה זו מטפלת בבעיות פיזיות, נפשיות ומנטליות דרך איזון הגוף האנרגטי.
בעקבות אהבה, דודי חזר לגור בישראל והוא חי עם משפחתו בקיבוץ גבת בעמק יזרעאל. 

דודי לימד וטיפל ברייקי מסורתי, הוא לימד את שלבי הרייקי 1,2 ומאסטר, הילינג, סדנאות נשימה (פרניאמה), מדיטציה ודמיון מודרך.

בכ"ז בתמוז תשפ"ה, 23.7.2025 דודי נפטר ממחלת הסרטן לאחר תקופה של 3 שנים בהן אהב יותר שימח יותר וחיזק יותר את סובביו ואמר בקול- "זאת מתנה ולא מחלה". אלו היו שנים בהן חגג את חייו ואת אהבתו לאשתו ולילדיו.

הוא נפרד מגופו ושינה צורתו באור ואהבה וביקש לשמוח על כל היש! ויש בהחלט!

In 1997 Dudi began his studies at the Vivekananda Ashram near Bengaloo in southern India, where he studied medical yoga, Pranayama (breathing exercises) and meditation.

Dudi set himself a goal to change his way of lifestyle. As part of the process, he spent more than two years with Baba (a spiritual teacher) who underwent the process of changing the mind, such as being alone in a cave on the mountains Himalaya, practicing meditation and yoga as a way of life and controlling the mind.
Years later, he learned traditional Reiki and was trained as a master teacher and therapist. In his 20 years in India he has taught and trained over 10,000 Reiki students.

He developed the healing method of spiritual healing with his teacher from the Vivekananda Ashram, who later became his partner and friend- Dr. Anand Hashel. This method treats physical, mental, and emotional problems through the body's energetic balance.

Following love, Dudi returned to live in Israel and lives with his family on Kibbutz Gvat in the Jezreel Valley.

Dudi taught and treated with traditional Reiki, he taught Reiki levels 1, 2 and Master, healing, breathing workshops (Pranayama), meditation and guided imagery.

On 23.7.2025 Dudi passed away from cancer after a period of 3 years in which he loved more, made more happy and strengthened those around him and said out loud - "This is a gift, not an illness." These were years in which he celebrated his life and his love for his wife and children.

He said goodbye to his body and changed his form in light and love and asked to rejoice in all that is! And there is definitely!
